OUGD404: Study Task 01 - How Do You Read? Colour Theory

There are subjective uses of colour. When your eyes feel fatigued you faintly see different colours.
-Physiological and Psychological
-Get caught up in what is theory and what is a vague response
-Some colours prompt a variety of senses

There are three times of cones

Type 1 - Sensitive to red/orange light
Type 2 - Sensitive to green light
Type 3 - blue-violet light

The colours our eyes receive.

Black and white for reproduction purposes and then tonally.

RGB - On Screen
CMYK - Print

chromatic value = hue & tone & saturation

Fiction
Colour swatches - exact hue, justify reasoning for that.
Put the generic one that usually would be worked then put an unconventional option that would also work with the type of novel.

In groups we had to chose colours we would generally relate to certain genres normally then a colour that would not be conventionally used for that genre. We chose the following:

Science Fiction
Normal & Abnormal

Fairytale
Normal & Abnormal

Western
Normal & Abnormal

Chic Lit
Normal & Abnormal
