On monday I did some mono printing as potential backgrounds for my money design - for the more illustrative concept. I decided to create leaves because if one of the focal features is a tree then it would be a good composition to have leaves in the background because they will not take away from the focal point - it just fills in the background. I like the textures monoprint gives after you've done a few initial prints and it becomes a bit less inky and worn down.
